“This is by far one of the best places we have ever stayed at! When we arrived at Fernando’s place it was just before sunset so there was the most beautiful light shining on his property and he took the time to walk us through all of the house, the property to show us various plants and have us smell any flowers we passed by, the gazebo with 6 or 7 different hammocks, the pool and sauna, and then talked with us for a while about all the things to do in and around Mindo….”(read full review by Spencer)

“This house is lovely, comfortable, and in a beautiful setting. The pool is amazing with a huge sauna. “We had the most pleasant stay at La Lomita, Mindo for a long week-end. The solar-house is absolutely charming and its kitchen is really well –equipped. So you can definitely, if you wish too, cook a home-made meal at ease after a long day of birding, walking or exploring Mindo. However, there is no need to go very far to make some discoveries! The property itself is lovely, and you can observe a large variety of birds by just walking around it!
